Private Wedding at NeueHouse Hollywood
Love and light on a New Year's Eve: how projection mapping turned one wedding night into a place where magic feels real.
RocknLight joined Justin Choi and his creative team to bring a bold, tech-forward wedding vision to life at NeueHouse Hollywood. Working alongside ASV, who handled staging, and 1987 Masters, who led AV engineering, RocknLight created all digital video content for the projection mapping experience.
On New Year's Eve, NeueHouse Hollywood's 8,200-square-foot Studio A became the setting for the venue's first wedding — a futuristic winter dreamscape that immersed 300 guests in a fully projection-mapped environment. High-resolution visuals wrapped 270 degrees of wall space, dissolving the room's boundaries and replacing them with blooming florals, moving wildlife, and ethereal winter scenery.
RocknLight designed and produced all the digital video content that drove the experience from start to finish. As the bride walked down the aisle, a virtual projection path shifted and evolved beneath her steps. During the first dance, the visuals transformed into a personalised photo collage, and as midnight approached, an animated countdown filled the space - turning the wedding into a New Year's celebration seamlessly woven into the visual narrative.
The project was featured in BizBash, one of the leading industry publications in the event world, as a standout example of art-and-technology-driven event design. It is one of RocknLight's most intimate yet artistically ambitious projects — proof that projection mapping can be as personal as it is spectacular.
