In Pour Taste: Wine Tasting in Las Vegas
Five wines, five continents: how immersive projections turned a Las Vegas wine tasting into a visual journey across the world's greatest wine regions.
RocknLight was invited by Lighthouse Immersive to create the projection content for In Pour Taste, a comedy wine-tasting experience by creators Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh, running at Lighthouse ArtSpace Las Vegas on the Strip. The studio designed and produced immersive visuals that transformed the gallery space into a series of distinct wine-growing worlds, giving each tasting its own sense of place.
In Pour Taste is a one-of-a-kind Las Vegas experience: a live comedy show and guided wine tasting in one, where two comedians and a professional sommelier lead audiences through five wines and at least as many jokes. The show takes place inside Lighthouse ArtSpace Las Vegas, one of the Strip's premier immersive venues — and it was RocknLight's projections that turned the space into something far more than a tasting room.
For each wine, RocknLight transported the audience to the region that produced it. France, Italy, Spain, California, Australia, and other of the world's most celebrated wine-producing territories came to life across the gallery walls: rolling vineyards, sunlit landscapes, and iconic landmarks that gave every pour its own atmosphere and cultural identity. Guests didn't simply taste a Burgundy or a Barossa Shiraz — they were briefly, vividly, inside the world that made it.
The result was a layered sensory experience in which flavour and image reinforced each other. The visual journey through the world's wine regions added a dimension that no tasting note could provide: the colour, the light, and the unmistakable sense of place that makes a great wine more than just a drink.
